Jordan Sarrou – NO.1 – huge victory in crazy conditions in an inhospitably cold and muddy Leogang, Austria

The SR SUNTOUR result: two gold, one silver and one bronze medals

Jordan Sarrou for sure will mark this date in the calendar. A Saturday in October the more average guy would spend his time in front of a TV screen – cold, wet, muddy. But Jordan loves these kind of crazy conditions under which he can shine with his riding skills. Right from the start Jordan quickly took the lead of the M´s Elite XCO race and controlled it to perfection leading the field by approximately 1 minute. On this physically and technically demanding track, the title simply was reserved for him. He consistently pushed very hard from start to finish line, to realize one of his biggest dreams: become XCO WORLD CHAMPION!

As a rainbow jersey wouldn´t be enough, Titouan Carod finished the race on 3rd position. After a start in the leading pack, he was both tactically & physically so strong all the race long to climb on the podium and bring back home a beautiful bronze medal. A big day for the mountainbiking community in France, an amazing result for our SRSUNTOUR WERX family and of course an exceptional proof of performance for the AXON34 WERX / EDGE suspension combo. Félicitations cordiales!

And also the XCO junior rider Lennart Krayer rode faster than everybody else this weekend at the most important race of the year and made himself world champion!

At the Downhill Circuit, it was quite a race! The weather really shook things up and made it incredibly challenging for the riders. Most said it was the hardest event they had ever been to. Congratulations to Dan Slack for a silver medal in the Downhill junior men’s field as well as to Tracey Hannah in the elite women’s for a 4th place finish even with a cras
