Last weekend, Val di Sole was the venue of worldcup races in both the crosscountry and downhill formats, and the best 4X racers were competing at the third round of the "4X Pro Tour". In this race, SR Suntour WERX rider Quentin Derbier made it to the podium ceremony in fifth by winning the small final. Hannes Slavik got eliminated in the quarterfinals, finishing in 13th. The third race of the crosscountry worldcup also marked the return of Julie Bresset of the BH-SR Suntour-KMC team. The French Olympic and world champion had broken her collarbone in April and had been forced to sit out the first two races of the season. Bresset took it easy in Val di Sole and finished in 39th.
