TEAM ABSOLUTE ABSALON - READY TO RACE

The meet & greet of the new team

Following the signing of Jordan Sarrou, it was time for the Absolute Absalon Team to get together.
The Absolute Absalon Team event took place in La Bresse in les Vosges.  Alongside the latest signing Jordan Sarrou, Thomas Bonnet, Axel Zingle and Mathis Azzaro settled in for a week of fitness training,  lots of skiing, e-Bike training and of engagements with local partners in La Bresse, Vosges.

The official presentation to the press and partners was an opportunity for the riders to set out their short and long-term goals. The Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 are firmly in Jordan’s sights whilst Paris 2024 is the target for Thomas and Axel.
Additionally, „The idea is to be on the podium or in the top 3 for the Elite World Cup” Jordan stated with confidence. „Likewise for Thomas and I, only in the U23 category” Axel added.

Absolute Absalon and the majority of the sponsors are together again for 2019. Riders will be on the new BMC Fourstroke 01, a development collaboration between Absalon and BMC. When it gets technical, the riders will be assisted by the new BMC RAD dropper seatpost. Whilst clad in Gobik, the 2IN power meters from Rotor will be measuring the watts.
There is a slightly new look within the management team with Julien Brugeas (service course manager), Didier Colnot (osteopath), Kasper Viargues (physiotherapist), Mathieu Durand (administration and law), Philippe Jamet (partnerships), Paul Foulonneau (communication) and Jacky Maillot (doctor).
