WERX CAMP 2022 LA FENASOSA

After a 2-year pandemic hiatus, in February we held a WERX Camp for the first time since 2020.

The location chosen for this year was La Fenasosa Bike Park in Spain. Situated near Alicante in southern Spain, the location offers a pleasant climate even in winter: dry and not too cold. Almost all our athletes and teams answered the call to join the WERX Camp, spanning XC, DH, FR, Enduro, and Slopestyle disciplines. Girls and guys, young talents and legends converged from Spain, the UK, France, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine, the Netherlands, America, and Germany.

This was our first opportunity to have our World Cup athletes test the new RUX38 29“ EQ with a telemetry system.

We also tested enhancements to the VORO coil shocks to achieve racing setups that meet the demands of our World Cup and EWS athletes.

In addition to the test runs, the countless jump lines in La Fenasosa Bike Park provided plenty of fun and entertainment.

After five intense days of work, the athletes are equipped for the season and the SR SUNTOUR WERX Team moves on to the next WERX Camp in San Romolo, Italy. Stay tuned.
